Our Instructors & Staff Members
Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.
Through extensive testing, certification and some tournament level competition, our staff have attained insrtuctor knowledge in our art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.
James Watson (5th Degree Black Sash) 
Sifu James Watson is one of Britain’s main Instructors for internal health through Tai Chi – Chi Kung (Qigong), Reiki and Accupressure. He has been teaching various different Martial Arts for some twenty-eight years now & owns a massive 27 Black sash/belt equivalent grades. Most of Sifus classes have been conducted in and around Scotland and primarily in Greenock, Inverclyde.
Currently Britain’s main Instructor for pressure point training (Tuite) which is the manipulation of pressure points, the same points used for Chinese acupuncture, except where the needles would go Sifu Watson would use the pressure of the finger or hand to execute self – defence.

Mark Kelly (Black Sash 1st Duan) 
Mark has his sights on his goal and is striving to be one of Chi'ang Shou's next Masters.
Mark has trained with us since age 11 and has progressed from child student to adult student to junior Instructor and currently holds an Instructorship teaching all ages.
Mark passed his 1st Degree Black Sash in April 2007

Craig Miller (Brown Sash 1st Kup)
Craig has been there and back again for more. Craig was originally a Brown sash Instructor who discovered women at an early stage, stopped training for some time and subsequently dropped back three grades.Craig is now back in training and has settled down with his girlfriend.
Craig is a fantastic Instructor and student who recently travelled to China to Shaolin for some extra tuition.
Stephen Cox (Brown Sash 1st Kup) 
Stephen (Stevie) is a cracking Instructor and motivator. Stevie has struck a cord with the kids in class and is full of humerous wit.
Stevie is probably one of the most inquisitive of all our Instructors and as such he is progressing at a fantastic rate.

Lee Watson (Brown Sash 1st Kup) 
Lee is the son of the Master. Lee has just turned 18 yrs of age (November 06) he has trained for several years now and knows that he has to work harder than most because his father is the boss and during the School hours is just the same as the others.
Lee is a keen practitioner and has a realistic view to his training and expects no special attention from Dad in class, if anything is constantly trying to beat Sifu during the many sparring sessions.

Wullie is our in-house photographer and is a great student who trains diligently.
Wullie is responsible for many of the photo's seen on this very web site.

Carol Burns (Purple Sash 4th Kup)
Carol is our secretary and one of our instructors in not only Kung Fu but also in Tai chi - chi kung.Carols training has been extended to learning the bash 'n' dash self defence system as well as the fitness system Kick-Boxer-obics created by Sifu Watson.
A cool Girl with a defient grin and the ability to competently display her skills.
